Pea Seeds - Wando

First released in 1943, Wando peas were specifically bred to withstand the summer heat. Peas typically wither as temperatures rise, but not Wando. Southern states and zones 9 through 11 turn to this variety to provide a longer growing season. Plant Wando peas is late spring for a summer harvest, or even mid-summer to harvest as a winter crop.
